In the mountains above Cross World City, the Troopers find that Grimlord is holding Tyler in a second dungeon, the Virtual Cavern. Ryan enters Grimlord's new domain, where he battled a gauntlet of Grimlord's old mutants (restored using the rest of Tyler's technology), while J.B. and Kaitlin Star were trapped in Grimlord's Chamber of Doom in a Skug fight prior to. Soon after Ryan lost his VR abilities, the Cavern had self-destructed; luckily Ryan found his father in critical condition and rescued him along with the other two Troopers but lost his VR powers in the process. This arid location was never seen again.

Whatever rubble was left, including the opaque entry, Ryan and Razor Kidd revisited the horrid place! Grimlord rigged the cavern with more of those deadly, power-sapping heads of inactive mutants in order to drain the Trooper's powers once more. This was also implied that the Vile Vulgars, known as the "dirtiest team in the League," had their muddy Hump Dome stadium beside it. Razor Kidd quickly came to the strategy that Ryan must negate his powers while the Alien decimated the heads with his Rumble Fumble grenades! The trick worked, and the duo teamed up as they fought against Trans Shooter, the hay-wired coach of the Turbo Techies, after Kidd's bare feet were shocked. The warheads destroyed the remaining walls, and it made the escape easier while the robot exploded! There was hardly anything left after that.
